Exclamation Climate Control Panel quit working

I have a 2010 Ram 1500 and my Climate Control Panel doesn't work anymore unless I take out and put back in the certain fuses 16, 28, 42 and 47 (all showed HVAC in description in manual) before I start the truck. If I don't reset fuses the climate control **** lights don't work and it only blows outside air at the feet regardless of **** position and tempature position. Also there is no heat even if control panel is working. Is something "tripping the breaker" for lack of better words, whats the deal?

It may fall under the Heater & A/C recall, mine did and they re-flashed it, now works fine. (mines a 2010 QC 4x4 HemiSport)
Not sayin this will fix yours, but its worth a shot to call the stealership and find out if covered or not.
Have your VIN# number ready when you call them, they`ll need it to find out for you.

GOOD LUCK..!

DMoney,

The recall #'s that may pertain to your vehicle are L14 and K17. If you are going to call the dealer ask about those specifically.

I will look into the recall and the recall #'s, that will be awesome if I'm covered still, fingers crossed.

Just called dealership and they said its covered under Recall K17 and they can fix it in 30 mins. Thanks for the help everyone, I was about to put down some cash for some diagnostics so you saved me time and money!

Dmoney,

If you want to PM me your VIN I can check for other recalls. Sounds like you may not have received them or have the dealer check while your there.

As long as no actuators are bad it should be quick like they said. Mine was doing similar as well as this knocking sound in dash but when I flashed the stock tune back before the trip to the dealer, it worked fine for one trip to work but acted up again shortly after. I bet pulling fuses as you did would have done same thing.

Good bunch of guys in here, they`re ALWAYS glad to help out any way they can.
Keep us updated on the outcome. Be interesting to see what and if this recall fix`s it.
