Question Front alignment question

I just removed a 2.5" leveling kit from my 2009 Laramie crew cab. I am taking it back to the shop for an alignment. Do these trucks need a 4 wheel alignment or just a front end alignment?

Also if I decide to install a set of 1/4" billet wheel spacers at a later time will that affect the alignment settings?

2 wheel alignment, but they`ll sell you a 4 wheel alignment job due to the fact that they have to hook up all 4 alignment heads on all 4 wheels to do the alignment properly. By doing this, it allows them to look at the tracking pattern of all 4 wheels and bring in the specs on the money (BUT, only if you have an alignment guy that knows what he`s doing that is..!)

I dont believe the 1/4inch wheel spacers will change the alignment, BUT, talk to an alignment specialist before you do that.

On truck with a straight axle in the rear it is called a Thrust Alignment. Used to be cheaper than a full on 4 wheel alignment.

Just need a front end alignment no adjustments for the rear and also wheel spacers will not effect alignment specs

Coolatc, whats the backstory with the pulling of the leveling kit? Noise, articulation, shocks, handling, tire wear? Just curious.

I uninstalled the Top Gunz Customz level kit mainly because I changed tires. I was running the 305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grappler which is an awesome tire. But I've started doing more Interstate driving and my mileage really suffered. So I went back to a stock size tire. (Cooper discovery HT Plus). Once the less aggressive tires were on there, I thought it looked better with the factory rake. So off came the kit.

I had no issues with my level kit. Just decided to go back to stock for the driving style I do. BTW I have the Nittos for sale as well as the TGC level kit, as well as some high end 1/4" spacers from Motorsports Technologies if anyone is interested? All sitting in my basement taking up room.
