Default SPYDER LED Tail Light Install Dilemma

I recently received my SPYDER Smoked LED Tail Lights from www.carid.com. It is listed on the website as plug and play, but, the connectors do not fit. The connection coming from the truck is unmarked, but is a female 3 pin connector.

The connection coming from the LED lights is a male flat bar connector with 2 brass contacts on it. It is marked C3157.

Has any one else had this problem, or does anyone have a solution? I have emailed both CARID and SPYDER but have yet to recieve any responses.

My buddy had the same problem... look a bit harder and you will see where you are messing up.
Hint: check the connector

I checked both connectors. Unless I am missing something huge, there is no way to make the two connectors fit together. Ive got pictures of both that I can email, but I am either slow, or they just don't fit.

Take the actual bulb out of the factory wiring harness and the flat connection on your new tail lights should fit right in where the bulb just came out of. I had the same problem.

Not entirely. Seeing as how the instructions that came with it specifically said to do something different to plug it in and make it work. But, oh well. Better to be a cheerful idiot than a jackass.

But, thanks for the help on that I was concerned about doing s omething that would short out the wiring or make them not work. Problem solved.
