Default Superchips! What do I need to know about updates?

Ok finally took my truck in to get recall work, seat switch etc fixed.33k miles. I'll have had it for 3 yrs already this June!

I haven't updates the firmware since the trans tuning came out. Probably over a year ago? Can't remember. So anyway. Should I just reload my software that was on there? Or do I need to update it? Has their been any changes I need to know about since the transmission update? Sadly I haven't been on the forums in a while.....
Thanks

I was running an early version of the trans tune and updated a while back when they made some shift improvements. It definitely has a faster 1-2 and 2-3 shift after the update. This same update also fixed some shift issues for some guys that are doing higher than 6000rpm shift points.

One issue I had though is it took a bit with this new superchips easy updater software install you have to upgrade your pc to. I had to manually find and update the driver for my pc. It may be just a Windows Vista thing but hopefully they fixed it by now. Look at the last couple pages of the superchips sticky up top here for more detail if you have a problem.

Cool.... Thanks. Im almost a little hesitant to mess with it though...lol

I'll need to check that thread anyway to see what people are setting the rev limit at, torque control (8% I thought?) etc.. I just picked the trans setting from them. Don't have time to set all those points......lol
