Place is called Nogalitos Gear down south of town.

Nogalitos Gear Transmission Service Co.
2910 S Zarzamora St.
San Antonio, TX

(210) 923-4715

They did a great job fixing the total screw job 4-Wheel Parts did on my gear install. They put in OEM 4.10 gears with a Auburn limited slip unit. 20K miles and about 2 years on the install and not a single problem since.

With Nogalitos it was something like $1400 total. I think some of that though was the major cleanup they had to do on the diff case because of all the metal shavings and replace a couple of misc seals. My truck is a 4x2, so if you've got a 4x4 you'd have to double the price.

That's ridiculous! My local 4x4 shop charges $600 per axle for ring & pinion, install kit and labor.

I also know quite a few guys who had gears done at both the Orlando and Jacksonville 4 Wheel Parts stores and although very high in price, they did excellent work. How did the 4 Wheel parts out there screw yours up?
