No worries Man!

Like I said, I am sympathetic to software issues. I spend quite a bit of time with my face in my palms working this kind of thing out. I program building automation systems and spend all day on a PC them at home I work with a house full of Mac's.

I know the v.i.r.t.u.a.l PC application is a work around for some people and if all you want is to open this one file... That could be the ticket. There are some pretty smart people on Mac Forum as well. http://forums.macrumors.com/index.php

I dont know if the "office" for Mac software would accomplish this task either. The more I look at it the more I am thinking you may have to copy the file to a thumb drive and take it to work and print it there. Free paper too! That is if you have PC's at work?

Merry Christmas sir! And good luck.

Sorry I wasn't more help.

I know im no help, but MERRY CHRISTMAS to you! Just thought I would check into the forums, hope I brightened your day...haha

No worries man. I REALLY appreciate it. I think I am going to find a buddy w/ a printer and windows and just print it off.... we'll see. I'll probably just end up purchasing the whole manual, there goes another chunk of change lol.

Well, If you are going to throw it away, You can sure mail it to me! Ill even pay the shipping ;0)

I have had the best luck with the Mac's in the house over the last 6 to 8 years. My wife and kids have converted completely as well.
And no Im not a tree hugging, granola eating liberal either ;0)

Fact is you would be having the exact same problem on a PC if you were trying to run a disk made for a Mac. That manual and its executable files were not intended to work on the Mac's.
The cool thing is most software you get anymore is made to run on either platforms. This is the first time I have run into a problem like this that I could not find a work around. So in short Mike... If you find a solution please let me know too! Then I can be smarter along with you!

Jason.

Haha if I didn't spend so much on it I'd toss it...but don't get me wrong it has been a great computer, really quick and never any issues locking up.

We know your not a tree hugger you drive a RAM, if you had a prius or smart car I'd have my doubts haha.

If I find a solution I'll definitely inform you, once again thanks for the help!

HAHA! I knew I would start something! LOL

Each computer has their place, if I was going into video entertainment or editing. Photos whichever. I would sure get a mac, its what they are built for. But I need something for personal use that I have a broad spectrum of uses for. Basically I like the fact that I can run third party software! And they are much much cheaper, with options to EXPAND!

You get guys that will sit in their home and design all these little programs to help you solve problems like these. Fact is, its much easier on a PC then for a MAC. JMO

Agreed Nate, I'll probably end up just buying the service manual. I posted on Mac-Forums and they gave me similar advice to what Jason gave me. I'm still trying little by little w/ no success as of yet lol.
