Had the vehicle been on the market when I bought, I would have bought one for sure. My only regret is that I opted for a 1500 with the crappy IFS. Incentives were HUGE on the new 1500s when I bought and there were NONE on the 2500/3500 trucks. Not only that but the diesels I originally went to purchase were being sold at ABOVE sticker price in my area. I actually paid $17,000 less for my '04 QCSB Laramie Hemi 4x4 than the best deal I could have gotten on a 2500 diesel even though sticker price on that diesel was only $9000 higher. Hell, I bought my truck new off the lot AND a late model Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 to use as a daily driver and still spent almost $6000 less than the diesel would have cost me...
But my 2nd Gen 1500 was a SFA truck and I didn't even give the front end of a 3rd Gen 1500 being IFS a thought. My truck has been a fantastic truck in the 7+ years I've owned it and with over $13,000 in mods I've done and only 51,000 miles on the ticker I'm not getting rid of it soon (plus the fact the company I worked for just went bankrupt and laid me off doesn't help).
But in hindsight, I would have bought the 2500 for the SFA and had I known the Power Wagon was coming out the following year I would have waited for it.
As it is, I've spent big $$$ doing a lift and installing 4.56 gears and a winch that the PW would have come with...

Hammer, there is a 12' PowerWagon at a dealership about 30 miles from me. It was a Sunday so I thought I would take a ride and check that baby out. When I pulled in there was a couple guys who came down to check it out like I was doing and they found it on the net as I did. This PowerWagon was beautifull. And there are not to many vehicles like that. If you ever have the chance to check on a 4th gen PowerWagon, do it. I would love to get one but it will not fit under my carport. My neighbor just got a 12' F-350 extended cab, diesel, loaded, nav, power moonroof, heated/cooled seats etc. $59,349 was the sticker, that truck is gorgeous. You cannot even tell it is a diesel. But that PowerWagon certainly got my attention.

sure rides nice for a 3/4 ton though, I think its smoother than my 06 1/2 ton was , missing the 6 spd manual I had in that truck, this 6 spd auto stick takes some getting used too !!!
