how big of a tire can you run with a 2.5 leveling kit
I have replaced everything in the front end except the carrier and I still have the wobble in 4wd. I am assuming it is because of the 2.5" lift. My guess is that the cv axles are at such an extreme angle that they force everything in the front end to 'jump' forcefully which causes the known wobble.
I have the leveling kit, and run 315/70r17 tires, Commonly called a 35 but actual measure in about 34.5. If I shift to 4x4 and floor it up to speed I can feel a slight vibration, not a wobble, just a vibration like a slightly out of balance tire, but only on smooth pavement can you even notice it. Off road, in snow etc, you would never be able to tell. No wear on tires other then normal, been on 2 years now. The back two seem to wear slightly faster then the front though.... weird.
so i just got a 2012 dodge ram 1500 slt.
its a 2wd
i just want the leveling kit so it doesnt look wierd as im used to lifted 4wd's however all the leveling kits i find say 4wd? anybody know of anywhere to get one for the 2wd models?
