I pick up my new Longhorn next week and I was wondering what important items should be checked out by me before handover. Is there some items I should keep in mind on that day?

 

Here are a few quick ideas. I'm sure others will have more to add.

- Fully inspect the vehicle inside and out visually for any imperfections. Things like paint flaws, dents, scratches, missing pieces, etc.
- Make sure all features & options you ordered (or are listed on the window sticker) are present.
- Test drive to check for mechanical issues. Listen for odd noises.

check the oil, you'd be surprised how many people bring home a new car and the oil is low. a friend of a friend did his first oil change on a new car, and come to find out, the oil was almost non existent.

check the body/paint high and low

other than that you should be find. if it was used, this list would be LOOOONNGGGG
