Fobik prog.Anyone done this on 2010 RAM?
I'm having problems reprogramming a 3rd Fobik on my 2010 3500 Ram. I got a used fobik from iKeyless that had been flashed to an initialized state that allows customer reprogramming if you have 2 fobiks. The procedure I'm using is the one that you insert fobik 1, on for five seconds, insert fobik 2, on for 5 seconds and single chime to indicate entry into programming mode. Then insert fobik to be programmed.
I never get the single chime saying I'm in programming mode.
I see a lot of forums references that this can be done and also a lot of references that this feature is not longer available.
So, has anyone actually done this on a 2010 Ram or do I need to get it done by my dealer?

For your information, a FOBik can be programmed only once, then its garbage...
So buying a used one is a scam...
Also, if you have only one FOBik, you MUST go to the dealer, no way you can do it yourself...

Here's what I ended up doing. I bought a used FOBIK from EBay - iKeyless vendor, that had been initialized. I wasn't able to reprogram this myself even with 2 working FOBIKs, the Ram wouldn't go into programming mode. So I brought it to the dealer and along with my a 10,000 mile service, they programmed the FOBIK for $37.50, 1/2 price.
