Default noise in front when turning, anyone have??

I have a squeaking noise from the front right side while driving. It happens when i get small bumps. I have a 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit.
Also, when i turn my wheel from left to right i hear a clicking noise. Very weird. I can turn my wheel back and forth and it keeps making the noise. Any ideas. Thanks for the help

I have had clicking and popping noises in my front end before. For me it turned out to be the round Nerf bars rubbing on the frame brackets. They cut through the cheap plastic caps and it became metal on metal.

I am starting to hear it on mine too.Just started about 2 weeks ago actually.I now have about 13547 miles on my truck.Pretty much the same d$mn noise. When you turn the steering wheel right to left,or when you travel over imperfections(bumps)at slow speeds on the road.Sounds like the noise is at the right side of the dashboard.I can't distinguish if it sounds like a popping noise or a squicking noise though. The noise seemed to have generated after the tie-rod update was done though.Maybe that's what it is.Have you recently had the tie-rod update done to your truck?

Got the same thing on my 2009. There was a slight "clunking" before the tie-rod recall/update, but it's actually worse since the replaced the tie rods. It's uncanny the number of times you take a vehicle into the shop for a repair, and you develop another problem related to the repair.

Just simply amazing.... worse off AFTER they`ve worked on it. I`ve complained of this very same subject more times than i can count. I recently contacted chrysler, now my dealer is really pissed off at me. (TOO BAD..!) Oh well, if they cant do the job right, the dealership needs to be exposed so others dont get screwed by incompitent idiots that shouldnt even be allowed to work on vehicles. Every single time i`ve taken my truck in to have work done, it ended up with more problems AFTER they`ve worked on it. (or ended up worse with what they tried to fix/warranty wise) Having tools dosent meen you know what you`re doing. Working on vehicles is an art, you either know what your doing or you dont. Its an art that is dieing very fast. Even if you find someone halfway decent, you still have to question their ability`s.

My tie rods have never been replace. Is there a recall on the 09's?? I have to replace my ball joints. I hear the noise when Im parking and turn the steering wheel. The noise from the front is coming from my top of my strut mount.

Yes, there is a recall on the 2009's. If you go to the Dodge website, you can type your VIN # in and it will tell you about any outstanding recalls.

Just because you are in LA does not mean your tie rods might not be bad. Get it checked and if they are bad complain about it. Tell them you drove it to NH and got snow on 'em.....LOL.
