Default Rear Spacer Alignment?

I already have a 2.5 inch leveling kit on the front of my 09 1500, and am planning on installing a 1 inch rear spacer on it this weekend so that the truck does not sag when towing a trailer. Will I need to have another alignment done after the install, or will the alignment be unaffected? Thanks in advance for the advice!

2 things -
1) no, you shouldn't need an alignment
2) the ride is going to be much worse and it is still going to "sag" You're not changing the rate of the coil, just raising its mounting location.

I understand that the ride quality may change very slightly, but would the difference be significant? I spoke to the customer service guys today, and they advised me that I probably wouldn't even notice the difference.

From Top Gun Customz website:
Top Gun Customz is proud to present our new Rear Coil Lift Spacers for the 09-11 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. These will lift the rear of your truck approximately 1". These are manufactured in house by Top Gun Customz, which allows us to offer them at a reasonable price. We developed these because of their high demand. Because of that, our spacers are made out of steel. Only the highest quality materials are used for these spacers. These are installed at the top of the coil springs and do re-use the factory isolator. They are super easy to install and do not require modifications such as drilling, etc. Ride quality is unchanged. They take as little as 20 minutes to install.

Has anyone installed something similar to this, and noticed a decrease in ride quality?

Wouldn't air bags help the sag when trailering?

I will give the airbags a look, but I am still curious how much the ride quality could change as a result of the spacer.

With these coil springs its hard not to get any sag, that's the only thing i hate about them, the only way to eliminate that would be airbags, load cells or a weight distribution hitch depending what kinda trailer your talking about.

Personally i can't see it changing the ride quality that much, if anything noticeable. Maybe with the truck loaded it might affect the functionality a bit, like being a lil more flimsy.

From what i understand these install on top of the spring, so that would mean the shocks are gonna stretch 1" higher am i right? Or it lifts the body 1" which the suspension stays unaffected?

You're lucky you don't have the wobble in 4x4 with the 2.5" lift in the front.

I have the bilstein 5100's up front set at the 2.8" setting and I have the top guns customs .75" rear spacer in my truck and noticed no change in ride quality. The front end is a little stiffer (but that's bc I replaced my whole strut assembly). I actually ordered the 1" spacers and they will be here tomorrow. I am taking my .75" spacers out and will be selling these.

i have 1.75 spacers on back with 2" up front and dont really notice any "much worse" ride. as with any lift you can feel a little more sway and notice it around corners, but nothing bad.

if you dont change spring rate you shouldnt change ride. if anything your pushing the weight transfer closer to stock, since you lifted the front previously without touching the back you had transfered some of it towards the back.

I have spacers on my 2500, and yes, technically the ride should be unaltered, as the coils are unchanged and are at stock specs, however I can tell you from experience, I am rougher than stock. but it could be from all sorts of stuff.

However, I would also recommend airbags. you 1500 guys dont have rear leaves, so you cant use topguncustomz mini leaf pack, which is what I will be changing to as soon as I get some spare money.

but the original poster, said he wants to prevent sag, so yes this will keep your rear a little higher, and no you shouldnt need an alignment on the rear if you just had one. (most people dont even bother with rear alignments)
