Cool 1st problem

135,000 on 09 rambox 1st major problem..so.so . Sunday the temp started to rise and I pulled off the road . I let it cool, looking over everything ?? started back up and turned on the display so I could read the temp. The numbers would go uo 220-225- 238- and so on , then stop and go back to normal 195 .... It did this 3 or 4 times ??? Got it home and took it in to the dealer this morning ... Did the same thing going to dealer , rise up and fall back very quickly .. The service tech did get to see it move .

Now is it the thermo stat or electrical issue ????

Sounds like a sticky thermostat.

I had that issue with a Neon, turned out to be a relay for the A/C fan in the front, it would increase the speed of the fan when the A/C was on. It was overheating and when they changed that was all set. Good Luck but I bet if you are paying you could find a cheaper heating and cooling or rad shop to check it out. Dealers are so expensive.

Dealer called and it was the thrmo stat and a seal near the elec. temp . The max care paid for the rental . I have the 100.00 deductible. Good warranty so far on Max Care

Not bad for 135,000. if this was your first major problem. Glad to see the ram going over 100,000.
