Default Bluetooth

Is there a more economical way of enabling the u-connect, "bluetooth feature", in my 2011 Dodge Ram? The dealer wants close to $1,000 to do it. The head unit has the button for it.

Buy the module seperate and you could install it yourself? Someone on this forum (it may have been the DT forum) but did a full wrote up on the install procedure. Worth a search.

Part number is 82212159 and you can buy it on ebay for about $250.

Install directions - you do need to have the dealer activate the feature

Bill,

I agree with OldJeep's comments above. Front Control Module needs to be reconfigured before installation will work.
