Default What size tires on a 2012 1500?

Looking at a 2012 1500 4x4 and they look a little low in the front. Will my 285/70/17's fit without any mods or turning keys, etc...?

Looking at downsizing from an '08 2500 long bed 4x4 to a 1/2 ton short bed. Don't need a heavy duty truck since I bought a motorhome.

Btw, any clue what it would cost to add a 4" suspension lift to the same 2012 1/2 ton? The truck seems really low compared to my 3/4 ton.

The 285/70/17 may fit as mine came through stock with 275/70/17 and was also low in the front and the 285 s are just a tad bigger. The only thing you may want to think about is the sidewall rating if it's a Load rating "E" that small light truck is gonna ride hard. Just sayin.

Should be fine, I believe that is the same diameter as the stock 20s.

How do you level the front end on a 2012?

I don't think the 2012s are any different to level than other 1500 4th gens. You have to remove the strut and install a spacer. No torsion keys.

In order of sexiness:
Icon coilovers
Bilstein 5100 struts with ride height adjustment
Spacer (be sure not to go over any large holes as you may dent your struts and hyper-extend your joints)
