Not going to bragg anymore
2nd time in a month my 09 has died on the road[ Electrical I think]' Going down the road 35 miles mph or so and the truck dies. Lights come on like you have turned it off and back on without restarting???
Pull over and throw it in neutral and it starts up like nothing happen???

without a code, this is going to be tough. Assuming you don't get a code then it's probably in the wiring. I suspect it's PCM related by the way it's dying. The PCM itself has a "self test mode" if it's not flagging a fault then the internals are good and the problem is within the interface to the engine. On the passenger side firewall (under the hood) are the PCM connectors that you should check for good contact. I would release them, inspect the pins and maybe clean the pins with a special spray they sell, and reassemble. See if the problem keeps coming back.
I concur, it sounds like a cam sensor (not sure if this truck has a crank sensor). I have had this happen in the past with other vehicles. It is not a major problem other than having it shut off the engine while on the road and generally easy to replace.
I would get it looked into as soon as possible as it may not restart if the sensor totally goes.

Yeah, it could be a sensor that's flaky and it will eventually go bad. My suggestion is proactive so if it is a loose or bad connection it can be looked at right away without waiting to get stuck.
Happen twice this morning . seems to happen on decel and coasting . not when you are powering up ? each time i throw it in neutral and it re fires just fine?????

May be unrelated but my last vehicle, 07 Grand Cherokee, had the exact same issue (I own a 2010 Ram 1500 Sport now), and it turned out to be a sensor. I'm not mechanically minded at all so I may not have the 'lingo' correct but I remember the mechanic at the shop telling me it was a 'crank' sensor. Basically what he told me was that the vehicle was shutting down because it was having difficulty in determining the transmission mode (2H, 4H etc). The symptoms were identical, coasting and decelerating, no power and all the lights on.
