puddle light issue

Default puddle light issue

i have a 09 laramie and i noticed today when i unlocked my doors with the remote that it looked like my passenger side along the ground was dark. i looked at the puddle light on the mirror and the LEDs were lit up but very very dim. drivers side was bright as can be. any suggestions ?

I don't think there is much you can do. It was a known problem, moisture gets in the mirror and then the lights quit working. The dealer will replace the mirror under the 3/36 and if you have a good dealer they will replace it after that if it appears moisture got in. They did mine at 39,000.

I had water in mine, they replaced and have been dry since. The light is not servicable.

I have a water drip mark down the inside of my passenger front light lense, do you think they will replace that after the 3/36k warranty.

Not much is on these newer Chrysler products! It's cheaper for them to make and more money to sell replacements.
