Default Where does this part go?

When I opened the hood yesterday this part fell out, on the passenger side.

Where is it suppose to be? And what does it do?

Cant find the same part on the drivers side anywhere?

It's a clip off the front right fender. There's an identical clip on the front left side as well.

Couldn't find it on the left side.
Is it possible that that one has fallen of as well?

Any pics of the placement?

When he says "left side" he means driver side. Vehicle placement is as you would be sitting in the driver seat. Just incase your looking on the same side the clip fell off.

If the clip fell off, I'd leave it off! Clearly it's not holding anything of importance together...haha
Call your local dodge dealer, give them the part and have them tell you what it's called. Just say you have a part in your hand that fell off and would like to know where it goes.

Fully aware of that

Problem is that we don't have any Dodge Dealers in Sweden (cars is specially imported...).

Could someone open their hood, find the piece and tak a photo?

Sorry don;t have my truck with me today but I found this. Heck you might not even be able to see it unless you take the liner off. I don;t know.
But here is a link. you can see the part in the lower left.

Hopefully it is OK to post these links....

This clip is exposed and unfastened when you remove the black plastic shroud covering the radiator. You have to take this off when you remove the grille and/or headlights (i.e. for replacing a bulb). There is one on each side, as noted above. I have no idea what purpose they serve. I wouldn't worry about replacing the missing one.

I understand it's easier to have someone find the clip than it is for you to deal with calling the dealer.....Some people dont even think of calling a dealer for things like that. At any rate, there are Dodge dealers across the US you could call. Most guys like calling their local one which is why I stated that.

Looks like it's a useless clip anyways.

Thanxs for the help guys!

Found out where it goes, it's under the cover, must have gotten loose the last time I fixed my strobes behind the grille!
