The only thing not stock on it is the drop in k&n filter. Right now its running on winter gas so it might affect it.

Are you sure that's not 12L/100km? Which works out to over 20mpg

I read on the display at 105km/h 24gph (switched to imperial and reset miliage) for a short highway drive.
16L/100km is prox 20mpg

Just want to be sure your seeing what your seeing.

Yeah, tell me about it. I can pull down 18-19 on the highway, but once I hit the city it drops to 10. Best case is city driving without much stopping I can get 13. But there is a ton or traffic here, so its usually stop and go at all hours with multiple stop lights per mile.

Currently my readout is set for L/100KM and it reads 18.3L/100KM. When I originally posted I had it in MPG.

You are close with 12l/100kms being approx 20mpg, but way off with the 16L/100km.

15L/100km is around 15.5mpg, so go from there. IF you are using 1 more litre to drive the same 100kms, you are get LESS mpg. 16L/100kms is more like 14.5mpg.

Yea, I went the wrong way with that.

I didn't recall when I wrote my reply but yes 15l is about 15.5 g.

1. What weight oil do you have in it?
2. Where go you live, what temp is it there?
3. Mds will kick in if a number of things are true, I can actually see my rpms jump 50 when it kicks in.

definitely check the oil viscosity; anything other than 5w-20 supposedly will disable the MDS.
that alone should not give you MPGs in the ten range though.
