Default 2012 RAM 1500 Splash Guards Mopar or?

Ok, what should I put on my 1500 Crew?

Mopar has the molded plastic ones, read some info here on the forum about the fit, but was mostly referring to 2011 models.

Has anyone tried the rubber ones? Site is confusing, 2 parts, which one is correct? 82212290 or 82211267AB. Instruction file (PDF) do not come up so I'm not sure whats involved with installing them. Prefer to just remove old trim and reinstall in the same holes.

Any good aftermarket ones that fit?

Thanks in advance

Whatever you get put protection between them and the truck, like 3m clear paint stuff.

i have the rubber ones and love them....they give me better coverage than the molded ones i started with. The different part numbers are for either front or rear and also for if you have the factory fender flares or not.
here is a site with part numbers for you.

Thanks Jayman but how was installation? did you use the factory holes or did you have to drill new ones? Do you need the 3M tape stuff with the rubber ones?

I've also got the rubber ones - you have to drill a bunch of holes, but they do what a mud flap should do which is stop most of the mud from flying. I didn't put tape anywhere on mine.

You have to remove the little plastic rockguard from the trailing edge of each wheelwell, and drill a total of 10 holes to mount them. (10 holes total for all 4 flaps)

I installed the factory molded flaps on the front. Installed the large factory rubber ones on the back.
I also used the factory mounting holes with NO issues at all. Did NOT have to drill any extra holes.
Both front & rear factory flaps had the correct hole locations...simple bolt on installation.
I added some 3M flim to the body to protect the paint where the flaps mount up.
Its been 2yrs now and the install is still as good as the day i put them on.
I`m not an aftermarket fan at all, the factory flaps fit perfect, aftermarket did not.

Total of 10 holes for ALL 4 flaps, so that comes out to 2-1/2 screws per flap.
Soooooo, how`d you come up with only using a 1/2 of screw per flap...?????.
Ohhhh, i get it, you only screwed the last screw in halfway on each flap...lol.

I've got a set of WeatherTech's on my 2011.

http://www.weathertech.com/dodge/201...-lip-moulding/

Uses 2 existing screws/holes per flap. They provide harware for a 3rd anchor if you choose to drill (thru the plastic flap and the plastic wheel well).

Maybe two on each front and three on each rear?

Husky brand molded polymer spash shields, you can find deals online for about $80 shipped.
