Unloaded, you simply air-down the airbags to a psi that simply keeps the bags in place. You get a ride just like stock.

I pulled my 6k lb travel trailer with my 08 Hemi. I avg'd 9-10 mpg with head winds. Got up to 12 with tailwind. Just bought my '12 and haven't pulled with it yet, but with the power difference between 08 & 12, I shouldn't have any problems.
