Default 4" Suspension Lift

Hey guys, I'm looking to get your input on some 4" lift kits I'm trying to decide on for my 2011 Dodge Ram 1500.

I've already purchased 35/12.5/20 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ Radials so I definitely would like to go with a 4" kit.

As of now these are the kits that local off-road shops have offered: Rough Country, Zone, Superlift and BDS. The Rough Country and Zone are about the same in price, and the Superlift and BDS are also the same in price. What are your guys thoughts on the Rough Country and Zone 4" kits? Are they worth the cheaper price or should I go with a higher quality kit? Your help would be really appreciated!

wrestled with the same issue, are ya gonna beat it to death or mostly drive on pavement, reality is they are all the same kits basically with differing reps of past products and maybe shock manufacturers, I went with the RCX and installed my self in my garage, I have no issues with the lift some squeaking on the rubber bushings in the shocks that I greased with silicone but that can happen, good luck. I am happy with my decision and left stock tires on and love it.

I have an 09 and did a 4" RC last fall. So far no issues at all and I like it a lot. I take it up and down some mountain roads, but nothing too extreme. I kept the stock 20" rims and put on 35" Terra Grapplers - but I needed 1/4" spacers to avoid some rubbing. Overall, I'm happy with the setup.

Anymore input on 4" lifts? I'm also looking at the RC lift because of price and I won't be doing much offroading at all.

I put my 4" rcx lift on a few months ago, no complants here. i had a knockle they didnt machine down far enough so my abs wheel speed sensor couldnt read. they sent a new one out and over nited! great customer service!! other than that truck rode the same till i put the tires on (Hankook dynoPro MT 35x12.5x20). 2 ply side walls make it ride a lil rougher but not much. make sure you get the spacers! I would recommend the rcx, you have the name, price and company that backs it!

I noticed that the rcx kit and the bds kit use coil spacers for the front lift. Rancho and superlift offer a whole different set of coils up front for the lift. Is there an advantage or disadvantage to the spacers vs new struts??!!??
