Default Reduced air flow in Cab

I did the "Cabin air filter modification". Used the Dodge filter. The new filter door fits nicely. It seems like I have lost about half the air flow into the cab. Is this normal? I expected some air flow loss, but not this much. Any ideas???? Comments???? Suggestions?
Cheers

The mod works well for me. You could check again to see if the filter is properly oriented.

The dodge factory cabin filter is slightly thicker within the material being used, slightly less air gets thru.
Alot of aftermarket filters are thin enough to see thru, likely why most people have less issues with air flow.
Go buy yourself a cheap aftermarket cabin filter and try it and see if this changes air flow.
A last ditch effort... did you take the filter out of the bag before you installed it...? (lol just kiddin)

Not ALL cabin filters are created equal... some are HEPA some may be CARBON... some just PAPER... flow is effected... ect ect ect ect

It only goes in one way... the right way, or the wrong way... wrong way wont fit.
