I've searched the forums and the googles but can't find anything. Has anyone ever researched connecting a 12v cooling system for the rear floor storage compartment? There seems to be plenty of room under the truck to retro fit it. The ice is getting to be a pain for the long hauls.

 

There is about room for a 6 pack and its not insulated - doesn't seem like much chance of making that work. Why not just use a regular cooler?

 

i would be very interested in this even if i have to install it under the truck and insulate it. i wish ram would have thought of this instead of that little bucket. I would also like to retro fit the heated and cooled cup holders from the later model dodges.
