Default help cat problem at 16k

hey guys just wondering if anyone else is having any issues with cat. i have a 2011 power wagon with 4 inch pure performance lift, truck only has 16k on it and now is throwing the p4020 code for low efficent cat bank 1. The dealership that i bought it from that installed the lift would fix the truck but i am now moved to the other side of the country and dealership here wont touch it because the say the exhaust has been modified so it does not hit the long arms. the part is $1600 and thats without install. any suggestions on what i should or could do here. will cutting the cats out completely cause any problems besides emission tests

Cutting the cats out is the dumbest thing you could do. Are you exhaust mods behind the cat? If so then call up chrysler and complain - there is no reason that they shouldn't service it. If your mods are in front of the cat then you might have an issue getting warranty work.
