2008 convertible. 27,000 miles. I'll EXCHANGE the fliud on it around 30k and NO filter. I drive it a lot more then I do my truck. The one I had the Chevy dealer do was my 2006 convertible I sold last year for the 2008. GM says sealed trans and no need to service fliud. But on the corvette forum many service their transmissions. My 2006 was somewhat better shifting and smoother torque converter lock up after the 'exchange'. I don't run the crap out of my vette but I do stick it frequently. Its what its made to do. Its a standard convertible,436 horse. Its a sold box stock mid to low 12 second quarter miler. I get 24/25 mpg around here and hiway at 72/75 mph I get 30/32mpg. Just put a set of Firestone Wide Oval run flats on it Thursday. Moderate tire.$1000 bucks. Michelin P2s are $1700.
