Default Functional Factory Hood scoops?

I got the sport with the challenger hood oem. Its not functional now but its going to be. either i make it or someone supplys the ram air kit. Has anyone already done this? I looked at the challengers factory kits it would work if my air box was relocated to the drivers side like the challengers. there isnt enough space to move the intake. What do ya guys think? any Ideas? also, I dont want a aftermarket hood.

attached is a pic of the duct work or challenger hood.

I looked into this about a year ago. The only problem with that Challenger setup is that the scoops on the Challenger hoods are further back than they are on the Ram. Although, if you had the Vararam kit then I think the following scoops would work pretty slick and be functional.

I made my stick-on functional. I originally bought the scoop because a pine limb fell on my hood while I was deer hunting in the woods. I tried to pop it out, got 90% of it out then the end popped the other way (up) and flaked off a big piece of paint. So the scoop was a band aid.

But then I wanted a 2nd Battery and it hit me if I cut out the front of the scoop, cut the hood under it, I could get my CAI off the passenger sidewall (freeing up for the factory 2nd Battery Tray), and kill two birds so to speak. Other than the cutting, it took all of about $7 in PVC to re-route the CAI up and into the hole under the scoop. A $2 piece of "gutta mesh" was all I needed for the hole I cut in the scoop.

About the only thing I need to do is find me a piece of molding for the hole in the hood, so it kinda looks "factory" when the hood is up...

Hammer....
maybe a piece of automotive door edge moulding would work around the hole in the hood to trim it out...???
Try the door moulding that has the glue inside of it. Use a heat gun to adhere it to your hood,
then a little dab of super glue to mate the butt ends together.

Post a pic of the underside... i might have another idea you could try if the moulding wont work.

Can you post some pics from under the hood? That sounds like a good idea!
