Default Shudder/vibration when truck is idling?

Hey,

Recently my 09 Ram Sport has begun to vibrate/shudder when idling. The RPMs stay steady at around 600, so it's not a rough idle, but it feels like it is. Originally I felt it in the pedals, but now it's become more prominent and I can feel it in my seat and the steering wheel as well. Once I start driving it either goes away or just becomes less noticeable. It feels like it's coming from the back end - would this be the torque converter? Anybody have any ideas? I'd prefer to avoid visiting the dealer if possible, but if it's something to be concerned with I'll get it checked out.

Thanks

How many miles on the truck, does it do it in "park" or in Drive with your foot on the brake, when was the last time it was tuned up with new spark plugs.

Could be a spark plug fouling up or one of the spark modules for the plug acting up.

Hopefully it isn't another bad cam episode.

Truck has 135,000km on it. Plugs will need to be changed soon - have been meaning to do it but haven't had the time. It happens both in Park and in Drive with foot on the gas.

If it was a misfire it would throw a check engine light. Torque converter or? Something hitting or rubbing under the truck. Have you checked exhaust? Is it modified? Been off road?

The first thing I would do is clean the throttle body, the second is to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes. Do one thing at a time.
