Default using a LT255/80R/17/E tire

has anyone tried or thought of using the above mentioned tire? it stands about an inch taller and a inch less in width from a LT275/70R/17?

most of the 17 inch tires were only 265 like mine, so your actually only about a 10 cm, or less then 1/2" narrower.
