So I have a thought that I'd like some opinions on. Ive got three kids of my own and my girlfriend (future wife) has 3. Shes a Chevy girl (Suburban) and I'm a Mopar guy. My next truck I'm looking at purchasing a newer Mega Cab (with a long bed conversion). In order to haul all 8 of us I'm pondering this idea:

Remove the rear seat and install two Quad Cab seats facing each other (sorta like a fire truck). Quick math says it might be tight leg room but the "middle" row could be folded up if need when not in use. Obviously seatbelts are going to be an interesting feat but hey.....I'm crazy enough to think of this deal to stay a Dodge guy and haul the entire family

 

I think its a cool idea but crash testing inginearing is going to foil your plans

 

Maybe just buy this and you'll have room to grow...
