Default Solenoid pack didn't fix it!

Hey All, I am new here, I have been looking around like crazy for an answere to this problem. I have a 2009 Ram 1500 hemi 5.7 with RFE transmission. I got a malfunction light the other day and moved to limp mode (4th) the trouble code i got from autozone was P0770 shift solenoid or wiring to that. I changed out the solenoid pack buttoned it all up and with no luck i am still in limp mode. Please HELP! I really need my truck back! Thanks!

Are you the original owner? If so then it should be covered under the lifetime powertrain, so just take it in to the dealer.

Otherwise check some of this other stuff:
Possible causes of OBD code P0770
- Low transmission fluid level - Dirty transmission fluid - Faulty shift solenoid E valve - Shift solenoid E valve harness or connectors - Shift solenoid E valve circuit is open or shorted The Error code is generally activated on detection of the following conditions: The P0770 code is detected when the ECM detects an improper voltage drop when it tries to operate the solenoid valve.

Thanks for that. I dropped it off at the dealer. I'm not the original owner so I'll probably have to pay a bit. The fluid was clean and I changed the solenoid pack which didn't fix it. I inspected the wire harness going to the trans but everything looked clean. Could the circuit in the valve body cause this?
