Anyone have EVAP issues?
So again I have discovered trucks built now are not intented to go anywhere except dry pavement. I have had issues fueling up for quite some time, particularly in the winter, it would take 30 mins. at times. I do drive gravel roads and in snow and rain and some mud occasionally for work purposes. Service engine light came on last week and dealer diagnostic says evap cannister problems. Today I took it in to have checked and apparently the charcoal canister, esim switch, evap filter all need to be replaced, and evap lines flushed, and a hard fill diagnose check done when this is completed all for a mere $757.05. I questioned if there was a permanent fix, such as rerouting lines that draw in air or is this something that has do be done every year? So any info or advice would be appreciated. Apparently this brilliant engenering is not so Ram Tough or covered by any warranty.
