UConnect with Android 4.0.x ICS
Big Blue, I don't know if pulling the fuse and letting it sit for 10 minutes will do it? Don't quote me on this either, but is there not a reset to factory settings in the setup? Just speaking from memory here...
Ya, I think I am going back to rootbox...I am quite happy with mine, I have an extended battery and I can do 36 hours on a charge using it. More if I don't (but whats the point haha)

For a system reset of the Uconnect system, press the Uconnect phone button and say "set up, reset". You'll be asked if you're sure that you want to reset...... and that all paired phones will be deleted. "yes"
Make sure to go into your phone settings menu and delet the Uconnect from your phone also. Then when starting the new pairing session, after putting in the pin code, and you hear pairing complete. Wait, you'll see the pop up for the PBAP (phone book access) and then you may see a 2nd pop up ( I have seen a couple phones that didn't have the 2nd pop up), it should say something about accessing your messages. You'll want to accept both (or just the 1 if you don't see the 2nd).

For the ipod cable, is there a USB connector that you plug the Apple 30 pin cable into or does the iPod plug into a short cord with a rectangle connector on the end? See the picture below,
