Default High Beam goes out

Last night on my way home I flicked on my high beams. After 20 seconds, the right side went out. I flicked back to my low and then back to my high and they worked. 20 seconds later, they went out again. When I got home and parked the truck, I put on my high beams and got out to look. Sure enough, they went out again. Any suggestions as to what could be causing them to go out but reset when I go back to low and then high?

Moisture in the headlamp housing, loose wiring connection, bulb going to hell. Do you have HIDs?

They are the factory bulbs. Would they come on and off if they were bad? Also, the weather has been dry for several days. How difficult is it to check the wiring?

Do you have dual or quad headlamps? I've seen connector issues on the quad headlamps, mostly the right side.

They are the Quad. Now the whole right side is out, low and high.

i would pull that side headlamp assembly out and with the lights on, wiggle the green headlamp connector and see if they turn on and off.

I had this same issue and for me it ended up being a bad ground.

It ended up being a bad low beam bulb. Per the dealer, the high won't work with a non-funtioning low beam bulb.
