Default Wheel hop

Do all of these 4th gen trucks wheel hop really bad I would think that this truck would be better then the 3rd gen trucks but if my tires spin a little they chatter so bad and this is on slippery grass I think that there is something wrong with it. Dose anyone else have this problem, is it how these trucks are?

I find it odd that you would be experiencing wheel hop on a slick surface. Maybe your definition is off?

Wheel Hop: An undesirable suspension characteristic in which a wheel (or several) moves up and down so violently that it actually leaves the ground. Wheel hop can be caused by many problems, including excessive unsprung weight, insufficient shock damping, or poor torsional axle control.

You can't turn traction control all the way off. Try it again and have someone watch what is happening - or stop driving like an idiot.

How are the tires? Meaning how much thread life still exists on the rear tires.

Slippery grass would be ideal conditions in which disabling your traction control could be then enabled (as previously mentioned).
