I just bought a new ram 1500 sport (SCAT PAK), was wondering if this was just a decal the dealership or manufacturing plant put on for looks or ???

I haven't seen a single other one around since i've bought the truck and was wondering if it's nothing more then a decal package.

It even shows on my bill of sale if i remember correctly, (ram 1500 sport w/ Scat Pak)

Any help would be great!

 

SCAT PACK? Sound like a dealer thing. Was it in the OPTIONS LIST?

 

When I look at my bill of sale it showed "Scat Pak" as an option.

I bought the truck off the lot, so i didn't order it with it or anything.

 

Not the bill of sale but the WINDOW STICKER that Chrysler put on it. Bet it was a dearler thing to make more profit.

 

It's a dealer thing, stickers etc. Just google Ram Scat Pak and you'll get the info you need.

 

It's a dealer package. Don't be upset though, if you like the logos and if they did other things to the truck, then it's a win in my book. After all, Yenko and Baldwin Motion were Chevy dealer options and look how nuts people go for those today. The main thing is your truck is a RAM, so that all in it's own it cool.

I used "The Google" for RAM Scat Pak and didn't come up with any images. Care to post some pics and specifics on what the dealer add-on included? I'd love to see them.

It's just a couple of stickers the dealer ordered up to have them put on. Dealers always do that stuff because Parts and maintenance are their 2 big profit makers. They don't make what you think they do on the vehicles themselves, so they add parts on and charge retail prices because it's a guranteed sale...usually. I walk away from any vehicle that has dealer added equip. I don't like them touching my truck and I dont want to pay retail for something I dont want/need or can do myself!

They arent that expensive if you need/want more.
