I have a 2012 ram 1500 media 130 with uconnect and a droid razr maxx phone i have had my truck since april I tried the text feature to send it went as far as sending but then told me it failed however i can have it notify me and read my text but it says from no number aval. now here the fun part i just got the ICS update from droid and i tried for the hell of it to send a message thinking it will tell me it failed but to my surprise it said message sent secessfuly cool i thought maybe it will tell me the names of those who text me well now that feature does not work it will not notify me of new text nor will it read them because it now thinks i dont have any to read but i do. if anyone here knows of a solution to this or any tips please chime in

Both of these issues are known and Chrysler is working with motorola on it. The first issue was how Motorola has been being worked on for a couple months. Not sure who is causing the issue. The Text messaging does work with several phones that support MAP (message access profile). What's even stranger is that there are phone companies out there that have some phones that work and some don't.
