Computer, Transmission Question
2012 Rm 1500, 5.7 Hemi Only mod K&N cai.
new had tranny shift probe when towing, ( as many may remember, sorry). Dealer never found problem, basically said I was crazy, but evidently when they unhooked the battery to do some diagnostic work the computer re-programed itself, and works fine now.
Lately it seems to tun higher R.P.M's when taking off. Haul mode is NOT on. I talking not towing. Also just taking off easy. I understand if I "matt" it higher R.P.M.'s are expected. Doesn't seem to do it all the time. Is computer "confused" or should I forget about it? Can an auto parts store check codes on these new trucks?? Maybe I should unhook the battery for a while?
