Default Tie rod end fubarred at 13000 miles?

Still under warranty, but this seems premature. Left outer tie rod end has play already.
Is this normal?

I believe the tie rod ends are covered under a recall, although I can't think why you wouldn't have received a notice. If you go to the Dodge website they have information on outstanding recalls.
