Its not the RivNuts/CrushNuts... Its the un-reinforced body sheetmetal that they are fastened thru... That metal tears after a while, unless it is reinforced. Some 3rd-party Steps provide a Backing Plate, but Mopar does NOT...
I already had my dealer fix mine once back in the spring. Seems to be OK now but I will probably take them off once I lower it this winter.
