Default Valve stems

Do you or do you not have to replace the whole tire pressure monitor system on the SIZE 225/55/R19, I have had the tires replaced and a week later I was In with leaks and they told me it would be over a 100$ to replace the stems foe EACH tire. Can I just take it to a tire place and have them fix the valve stem? As my nut has cracked right off and is inside the tire. Keep in mind I have had these new set of tires in the stop 3 times already and never once had a problem from original tires..... Please someone let me know as I about to have the donut put on (which the dealership told me was a full size tire).

I can't tell ya. I was in for Warranty and they told me they had to replace the whole thing to send back to Dodge for the warranty claim. Howver others have told me all I needed was the stem which you can get a tire shop or auto parts store. Bring it to a tire shop and see what they say. Cheaper than spending a $100.00 on each for nothing I guess.
