I have a 2011 Outdoorsman with the standard radio with the satellite radio. Does anyone know if these trucks are prewired for subwoofers? If so, are they plug and play?

Not sure if any of the prewiring exists or not, but you'd need more than just the subwoofer if it did. You'd also need the amplifier, and the correct outputs on the radio. I'd say finding an aftermarket alternative would make the most sense.

 

I have my Extant that is not busy right now...

 

An aftermarket amplifier won't be anywhere close to a plug & play. You'll have to find a mounting location and run all of the wires....which will probably be the only realistic solution anyway.

 

Stock head units are not prewired for subs unless you have the Infinity which has an OEM amp.

 

Thanks, didn't know if the subs were self powered or not. I'll deal with what I have.
Brummo, I'll need to see that Extant tomorrow.

 

Or we could just go get a couple new Alpines that are smaller.
