Default Anyone Running 16" Wheels?

I am in the market for some new tires, and i am looking at getting a set of the more aggressive all-terrain tires that are out there now. Kelly Safari TSR, Mastercraft Courser C/T, Cooper Discoverer S/T and S/T Maxx, Procomp Xtreme All Terrain are all on my list.

One thing i have noticed is that the tread depth is deeper for 16" tires than the 17" tires of roughly the same diameter on a few of the above tires. Every bit of tread depth helps so i was thinking of getting a set of 16" wheels for my new tires.

I was wondering if anyone has 16" wheels on their 4th gens and has pics to share?

They'll never clear the brakes. Take a look at the Firestone Destination AT as well. Aggressive AT without all the noise

Thanks oldjeep. The brake disks never even crossed my mind.

I have run MT's on every vehicle i have ever owned until now. After 15 years of listening to the humm one doesn't even notice it anymore. This is my first full size and i have gone almost a full year with the slicks. I can't wait to get them off. I want an aggressive AT for tread life, and the fact that i dont "think" i need a full blown MT. I have always had small trucks, ram 50 and tacoma, so all my MT's lasted for a long time, 4+ years. All the guys i know with full sizes have to replace their MT's every other year.
