Default Rear End Recall?

Does anyone know if the latest reacall is plant specific? I know they listed build dates but I was wondering if maybe one plant got some bad material or is it for all Rams no matter where it was made?

Could be dates related to the secondary manufacture that was utilized to produce the RAM rearends. The recall only suggests the pinion nut not having enough adhesive applied. Defective parts within certain assembly plants will unlikely apply to which model build dates are being recalled. Chances are more dates will follow into the recall eventually.

Sorry to Hi jack your thread but I have a recall ? Is there a time limit on how long you can wait to get a recall fixed?

Nope, it will still be honored. Its best to keep your customer notification mailer for future record should wait for a later date to have the recall work done.

I still haven't had the outer tie-rod ends replaced, however I do check them frequently. If my truck becomes apart of this particular rearend recall, I'll likely have them both scheduled at the same time.
