Thumbs up Cai

Hello everyone! I am new to this forum thing so give me a break. I just got a 2012 ram 1500 5.7 HEMI and i am interested in buying a CAI, but i am confused between volant and K&N. Can someone give insight on there personal experience or knowledge or ram CAI??? And also what are the pros and cons to a volant TBS?

Overall efficiency of any CAI system really isn't going to outperform your stock OEM airbox. There's a lot of misconceiving literature promoting aftermarket CAI system on the market. In reality most gains are near peak RPM ranges, which realistically is not normal driving habits for the most part. I personally have the K&N CAI 63 Series, my only reasoning is for purely sound preference. I enjoy a little sound coming from the engine bay that isn't completely obnoxious.
