Quad vs Crew?
A real truck has a 8 foot box, any thing less and you own a car with a open trunk, but I have learned a trailer can accompish what a 8 foot box can do, so that being said, the quad cab is just a dumb buy, less people area, less cargo area for tools, a crew cab looks a lot better, with more substance in the side profile.
Im kinda confuesed why dodge still builds the quad cab when it has the same engines and options as a crew cab. just make the crew cab across the line, it would be cheaper for chrysler...not like the token length in quad cab box is any to brag abought...
Don't be the typical short box guys who stuff a quad in the back, tie close the tail gate and lose the rear window when the quad hits the rear window ... it happens all the time ...

When looking for a 2012 from dealer inventory, I'm finding for me that Quad vs Crew is just one more variable to trade with other options, e.g., whether options like limited-slip differential and back-up camera are available. If a Quad Cab has anti-slip and a back-up camera, I may choose it over a Crew Cab without those two options. I like room for people in the back but I bet its been 6 or more years since I've had anyone ride in the backseat of my current vehicle. Thanks for sharing your insight. It helps to determine what is important.
Exactly ! Plus when we go to camp, I can get another row of firewood in the bed. Don't want to tow a trailer for more space and I threw a CEL and burned my coolers using a hitch cargo carrier with this dual tail pipes out the bumper setup.
