I have a 2009 single cab dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7 hemi engine and that darn thing will not shut off. I can turn the key off (FOB & key), pull the key from the ignition and it's still running. I thought it was maybe the new FOB/key that Dodge just came out with, but it seems to work fine unlocking, locking doors and initially starting the truck. I have to pull out the ignition fuse (#26 - 10 amp) to turn off the truck, and put it back in to start it with the key. I know there was a recall for win modules for the 2010's, but not for the 2009's, so I am wondering if maybe the win can be reprogrammed, or re-set somehow, or if te win is even the issue. If any of my Dodge peeps can help me figure tis out, I'd appreciate it! Don from Corpus Christi, Texas

 

What did you figure out was the problem? Having the exact same issues with my 2009 Dodge Challenger.

 

Sounds like bad WIN modules to me.

 

Probably wont help but you could try and disconnect the battery under the hood for about five minutes...

As mentioned, you can try disconnecting the battery.
