Power is correct that only parts that are determined to fail as a direct result of the modification are not covered under the warranty. This is not the same for a service contract as they can deny any repair due to the vehicle being modified. The reason I bring up service contract is because I am wondering what you have when you say 7/100 warranty? If you are in the U.S. then I do not understand how you could have a 7/100 powertrain warranty since they have not been available since 2003. If you have a 7/100 powertrain service contract then any modification will result in coverage being denied.
