Default Am I nuts?

Ok, I remember plugging my truck in during cold weather last year, I went to look for the cord and I CANT find it! So I figured it got yanked out some how, I went to the local dodge dealer and they could not find it. Looked it up and said it never had one!!! I SWEAR to god I have pulled it through the grill and plugged it in. It laid on my bumper.. They said it was supposed to be installed on the drivers side, yet i have seen forums saying its on the passenger side near the oil filter.. Come someone please tell me where the heck this thing plugs into if the cord is missing? It is driving me 1000% batty!! I am going off the nutty deep end over this.

I have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 QC BH package with 4x4.

Unless you paid someone to install one, there wouldn't be a plug in on that truck.

This is directly from Dealerconnect. "The 5.7L engine has the block heater located on the left side of the engine below the exhaust manifold in the rear of the engine and is not immersed in engine coolant but makes direct contact with the block ." Hope this helps.

My 2011 ram, was located pass side. Just on the other side of the intake towards the grill. I had to lift the rad cover to see it...

Not one on my truck. Are you saying it is supposed to be standard issue?
