Default mirror swap

hey, i have a 2012 ram 1500. i'm thinking about getting the mirrors with turn signals in them. my truck does not have them on right now. the thing i was wondering is if you can just put the turn signal mirrors on and they are a plug and play or if there is other wiring you are going to have to do to get them to work right? any help would be great.

If not part of the options from the factory, you'll have to have them activated at an authorized CDJ dealership. From what I've read here, some have had issues attempting to activate the LED signals at dealerships, however maybe now that has been solved.

The ports for the writing should already be installed, simple plug-in, however the directionals need activation.

A simple relay circuit off the current directionals from the front or rear of the truck will make them operable. It'll eliminate going to the dealer.
You'll have to know which wires are what and how to create both of the circuits. I don't have 2009-2012 wiring schematics so your on your own.
You will not effect tht tipm with doing so either.
